Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)
Magnetic Flux Leakage is an advanced non-destructive testing method used for detecting corrosion, metal loss, and surface or near surface defects in ferromagnetic materials, particularly steel structures. The technique is based on magnetizing the material and monitoring variations in the magnetic field caused by discontinuities or material loss. These variations are detected by sensors and converted into signals that indicate the presence and location of defects.
This method is fast, reliable, and particularly effective for large inspection areas where consistency and efficiency are critical. It reduces operator dependency while providing accurate and repeatable results. All inspections are performed in accordance with applicable international standards, approved Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), and client specifications, ensuring full compliance, traceability, and reliability.
